Silver Shadow 2 rear vanity mirror replacement

One of the rear vanity mirrors on my Silver Shadow 2 has tarnished so I have obtained a new one(still available from RR!)and intend to fit it if it is a straightforward job.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the unit from the rear pillar?It looks like it just pulls out from the light switch side first,then the new mirror screws in by 2 small brackets and hey presto!
