100 Bentleys, 100 years

Had a fantastic trip to Crewe today including meeting this guy, Darren Day, who was responsible for the design of the interior of my GTC, it was fascinating as he told me about what the inspiration was behind it etc. Lovely guy, really appreciated him taking the time to stop and talk to me.

Pictures are a bit jumbled up and I'm no photographer, I also didn't take very many but got a few videos of the lineup. We all lined up in chronological order which was amazing to see.

Yes, and really well organised, it was part of their 90th anniversary celebrations.

I'm off to a Concours event tomorrow, also in Crewe, not sure what to expect but looking forward to it as long as the weather holds up.

(Beaulieu next week, Bicester the week after, busy few weeks).

Biggest surprise was the judges coming over to speak to me about my car, I hadn't entered anything but then they came back with this...

Looks like another good day and some great photos there, congratulations on the rosette!

I've been tempted to join the BDC but there never seems to be any events up North or at least I never hear of any, you may have to be a member to find out.

You’re right, this one was only in the north because it happens to be where Crewe is.

I’ve not seen many other things going on, the forum is dead on the website so aside from the odd email I’m not sure how you’d find out.

In all honesty, the club could do with dragging into the 21st century. Honest appraisal.

Seems just as bad in Scotland - everything seems to be in the Edinburgh area, 3 hours from me
