OK, who's going then?

Saturday June 24th at Rousham House & Gardens.

I have been to every one for the last ten years, this year I have entered BG for judging and hope to win a pot or a rosette at least.

If you are a club member and are going, or if you arent a club member and want to go, post something up and I will sort out a meet and a picnic. You dont have to have a Bentley, just follow the car park signs for 'Lesser cars'

I can't make it but my father can so he'll be along in the Turbo R. Think thats doubled the numbers from the PH'ers!

Warren - he'll get in touch to meet up. What time does it start?

Usually mid morning onwards, judging starts at 11am prompt, but folks just coming for the day arrive anytime they are comfortable with. Parade and awards around 2pm. If you havent pre-booked with the club, I think it is £20 on the gate to get in. Bentleys park together in rows, but it is not too regimented, although they do like to keep Cricklewood, Derby and Crewe cars in seperate groups. If you arent in a Bentley, they have signposting to the 'Lesser Cars' car park.

There will be a Marquee and beer tent, club stand, club shop, traders stands with parts and cars for sale. Bentley Motors will be there with a line up of new stuff. Dress is anything from posh to casual. There will be the 'rough end' like me, through to plummy accents. I will probably wear a tie this year though as I am entered for judging (not me, the car ).

So many Bentleys, hundreds and hundreds. Such an impressive sight.

He sent of the application for joining the club today - do you think it'll be processed quick enough to "pre-book"?

I should think so, but he could always telephone club office for the booking form for the concours. They have goodies on offer too like pre-packed hampers or a buffet in the marquee. They will send him a rally plaque and you drive straight in.

Sounds great except I'm not sure its in concours condition at the moment (maybe next year) and don't want to get the car laughed out on the first visit!

I meant to attend, not to enter for judging, you can buy advance tickets, its a bit cheaper.
