mini key question?

Just bought the other half a facelift 2004 mini cooper and was wondering is there anyone on here who can get me the options fitted to that car via the bmw system or wherever else its available?
just curious as not sure whats standard and whats not?
also the car only has one key which opens and starts the car but the buttons dont work, can the battery be changed by anyone other than the stealers and where can i get a spare key other than from them also?

Might be worth asking a dealer if they can give you a print out of the spec sheet.

IIRC, the battery on facelift cars charges off the ignition. Could be worth using that key to charge it up?
