Cost of a full service?

Hi All,

My Mrs has a 06 mini cooper s and it is in need of a full service (inspections 2 I guess?). I have phoned some people I found on the web call Service Stop who are asking for £281 inc. Does that sound reasonable?

Also should I go to a main dealer or does it not matter so much? Any idea what the main dealer is likely to charge for the same thing?

Always concerned that a main dealer some how manages to find several other things that urgently need doing................

Did your car previously have TLC ? Mine did and the dealer has offered to extend it for £300, which will cover the next 3 services so seems to be quite a good deal.

as above, extend the TLC pack if you have it
BMW charge £279 for inspection II, that should inc new plugs and pulley belt

I paid £225 for an inspection 2 at a specialist,shame they failed to tell me/notice all 4 brake pads were nearly on the metal but hey ho.
