Heated Mirrors

My 03 Cooper has electric mirrors but they aren't heated.
Does anyone know if it's a simple enough retro-fit? Would the wiring already be there somewhere?

I must admit i thought they were standard on all Mini's?!

Yes optional. I guess they were part of a pack which mine doesn't have. Not sure what pack they would be in though as mine has Climate and half leather seats but not ASC/DSC or computer. Does anyone have a link to anything that shows what packs/options were available in 03?

Do you really want them? Like most things MINI/BMW, the level of automation is irritating and they only function in temperatures below 3c so absolutely no use in clearing moisture from the lenses when you want to in warmer conditions.

Really? That's a bit pants! I might just fit heated mirror glass with a switch & relay myself then.
