I've recently driven a 2003 Cooper S which was OK - more soon when it's properly liveried.

Brakes did dissapoint a bit.
What is it supposed to be: do they need to be warmed up with a few firm stampings?

I did not expect torque to be available from low revs (Rootes) so I could even short shift which made my passenger hold on to his seat: it's a quick 'n swift thingy!

Dink - you need a run in a proper mini but with a tweeked lump including a Bini blower on it Mega.

Brakes on my old Cooper S (91) were fanatastic tiny disc with 2 pot AP's (as std).
