04 Mini Cooper S Passenger Door not Unlocking

Hi,

Hoping someone out there can help with this issue on my 04 plate Mini Cooper S.

The passenger door will not unlock from the key fob

You can open the door fine from the inside of the car, and then the door will self-lock in the normal way as you drive off.

Would really appreciate any advice/knowledge as this is becoming quite frustrating

My Drivers side has gone. Have to use the key to unlock it, but there is no lock for key on passenger side.

I've been led to believe its a switch/relay issue.

the motor unit is failing, quite common. Its time for a new lock unit.

When looking it is the same as used in the rover 75 and mg zt so you may be able to find a saving...
