New JCW iPod connection

I have literally just put a deposit down on a new JCW mini I'm very happy to say the least :-)
The car I'm picking up Monday has a sat nav/ command centre... When I was on the test drive I was told that I could connect my phone (iPhone 4s) to the system in two ways a simple aux cable this would mean I would have to use the iPhone to find music. or I could connect through the centre consol with a special wire. will the wire already be attached to my car or do I have to get mini to fit it? Sorry for my grammar I'm on my phone as we speak. Please help lol

Not sure if they supply one with new cars. I will find out in about 3 weeks hopefully.
