Mini Bleeding

My wifes 2008 Cooper D has sprung a slight leak - and its red ! Transmission oil ? We reaaly dont want to give the stealers loot just to investigate. Is there anything common that leaks on these ? Oh its only done 30 odd thousand miles. Thanks Neil

Some antyfreez is red? Is it just like water or more oil like. (Check water level).

Definately oil. Phoned the dealer and they said £96 + vat to look at it !!
It will go into the independant that looks after our other cars. He thinks maybe steering rack
