MY04 Cooper - Buying Advice

I'm going to look at a MY04 Copper on the weekend for the girlfriend.

The car has 45k on the clock and 2 previous owners.

What do I need to look out for/check?

Any advice would be much appreciated, sorry if this has been asked before.... can't seem to get the search function to work.

Did it have the midland gearbox ?
Sump gasket
tyre wear
brake wear and discs
service history
panel gaps and usual car checks
Thats to get the ball rolling anyway.

Thanks, apart from the usual stuff if there anything specific to the mini I need to be aware of?

check steering lock to lock and listen for more whine than usual ours went throgh 2 electic pumps/racks.
