Just coughed up for a 55 MCS with JCW bits, chrono, chrome & HK sounds. 40K & Half leather, but I'll be swapping that over soon. Happy days, I've wanted a Mini for ages. Time to shift the beemer.

woohoo

very smart, enjoy

Looks good with the red paint and black roof / mirrors / front grille. The HK is awsome too, couldn't buy another car without a decent stereo now.

Not perfect, all four wheels are kerbed & will need a refurb & it's on runflats, which I'd like to get away from, but compared to what I'm running around in now, proper pleased. yes

Very nice, but you might want to put a bit more effort into hiding the number plates, especially for the caddy van and white mini.

Why? I've never bothered.

OK, a few days in to ownership & the first problem has appeared. The car makes a grinding noise whenever the sterring is turned to the right. It gets louder with speed & disappears when driving straight ajead or to the left.

The pads are low & so was the oil when I picked it up. The oil is right now. So I'm thinking wheel bearing, pads, caliper, bent stone guard or even a stone wedged in.

Anyone experienced this?

Lovely in the red. Sound like a wheel bearing all right mine went 2 months ago (exact same as you describe but the other way round for me, turning left) and it went quickly broke down in no time at all Unlike my old volvo i drove 11 months on a ruff bearing. I would make it a priority to change it out when mine was changed it was at the point of wrecking the stub.

Did you purchase it from a dealer? If so,take it back for them to have a look at,it will be under warranty.

No private & priced in a few repairs. Not too bothered about getting the spanners out, just looking for a diagnosis before getting oily.
