Need a long Y cable for the iPod/iPhone

The idea is to get one with a long length of cable so's it can be mounted to the screen & do sat nav & music. Bought a cheap one off eBay but it doesn't work properly.

Car is a 2013 btw

Any ideas?

We use the standard cable and a ipod extension cable i got off ebay.
Works OK.
