Went to look at an R53 for the OH this morning. Bodywork and interior were great but it had 3 problems.
One headlight washer didn't work
Air con was not working. Apparently not just needing a re gas. The green light on the button was flashing which apparently means it is broken?
The car didn't pull very well. Made all the right noises, could hear supercharger, no exhaust issue, couldn't hear any boost leaks and it revved smoothly, no obvious misfiring. it just drove like it was a Mini One rather than a Cooper S.

Just wondering if these are easy ish faults to fix with a known/ likely cause so I could negotiate a bit of a discount then fix it myself or if these are big issues and I should just leave it and find another?

Headlight washer, not sure.
Air con is usually the compressor, not cheap and not too quick if you do it somewhere that does it by the book rather than removing a wheel and jacking the engine up.
Not pulling could be lots of things from a broken diverter valve meaning it's not closing and all the air is missing the supercharger to a shagged supercharger (unlikely)
Unless you can get it really cheap or it's something special walk away IMHO as that's a lot of faults to be driving around with suggesting the previous owner probably didn't care about the car too much.

Think I will give it a swerve then. Thanks for your input.
