Cosmetic Changes (roof, stripes & mirrors)

Hi PHer's,
New motor & first post...

I picked up a tidy 06 mcs a couple of weeks ago.
Nice spec but looks a little plain in darkish blue all over so I intend to liven it up a little.
Nothing too pimp as its the wife's daily commute.

I'm thinking of changing roof & mirror colour and adding matching viper stripes. Currently thinking either black or white but open minded to ideas & suggestions. Might also colour wheels if I go with white.

So what I'd like to know...
Paint or wrap? (I have double sun roof)
Any recommendations of places to have the work done?

I'd paint it as I've seen some rough looking roof wraps on minis over time. I know a great painter who is very reasonable but does a great job. I also know graphics people and a place that does wheels. All based near Birmingham

The easiest option would be a vinyl wrap which if done properly should last years. This would be my preffered option as it can easily be removed if you no longer like it or sell the car.

I picked up my 55 plate MCS JCW yesterday and it's a similar colour to yours from the sounds of it, albeit with white roof and it already has white bonnet stripes. I'm going to have the roof vinyl wrapped in matt carbon as I'm not a huge fan of the white - particularly as it's such a large area (don't have the sunroof).

Roller and Mil spec matt green, should sort it out.

Matt carbon sounds good. I'd like to see how that looks. Should let the wife choose the colour really.
