I'd like to retro-fit one of these to the GF's Mini as I think the roof looks a little "bald" as it currently is. Could anyone point me in the direction of a good source for one of these? Are there any decent copies available?

I've looked on eBay and there are plenty of Cooper S spoilers, but none of the standard Cooper ones that I can see and I don't particularly trust some of the eastern European made copies without recommendations.

I've also heard that fitting one of these can cure the leaking thrid brake light issue? Are they just bonded to the boot lid or do they require fixings?

Thanks in advance.

Cooper S one straddles the rear brake light. That's the nicest IMHO.

Cooper or cooper S ones will fit - it was a few years ago but as I remember there is a bolt either end, so you'll have to drill the existing boot lid. They are also bonded so once on are a pain to remove.

There's a dealer in Blackpool that does deals for members of the mini2 forum - well they used to. I've had painted parts from them really quickly at a really good price - might be worth a look.
