hi all, got a handling problem in my 2010 clubman D which I've had a couple of months. just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas what might be my problem. if I hit even small bump in road or even large catseyes or similar the steering wheel leaps in my hands and whole front end jerks to the left to the extent passengers go what the hell was that. had the wheel alignment checked and tweaked - it wasn't much out - and its still doing it. any ideas or thoughts appreciated cheers!

or am I simply victim of the run flat saga and this is normal........surely not?

Yes run flat tyres don't work as tyres. They're the work of the devil. They're not fit for purpose. I wish I was exaggerating.

I notice on test drives that if customers arent gripping the steering wheel properly it can do this due to the hard ride.
