Change my Mini - Dilemma
Discussion
So the time has come to change my beloved mini. Not out of choice but due to my company car policy! Being over 5 years old I have to take the plunge to change...
After looking at 1 series coupe's, Audi TT's and others... Here are my choices:
Circa 2010 - WC50 Mini works
Circa 2011 Facelift Works
Both would have to have sat nav, and the usual extras such as leather after being spoiled with a seriously amazing spec on my current car...
I know there's not a massive difference but what would you do? Get one with the dark grey interior as the facelift? Or go with something limited edition?

Dilemma over.
Put down my deposit on a 2011 FJCW and pick it up Saturday.
Test drove both cars and the 2011 was flawless compared with the WC50.
WC50 was a tad ropey. Covered in stone chips and looked like it was abused. Few bits that were tatty and inside carbon was all faded. Alcantara was all grubby and needed some TLC. The clutch also was far too stiff in comparison to both my S and the JCW I test drove just hours before.
The FJCW however was immaculate. Perfect example with no stone chips albeit the slightly higher mileage compared to the WC50. Sytner offered me a great PX price on mine so couldn't turn down the offer. Has every extra box ticked and can't wait to drive it again!

I was quite happy to buy an MCS until I drove the JCW.
In the real world of Sussex back lanes it seems as quick as my old 130i M Sport as it's smaller and the response for the charger is instant and addictive and it doesn't seem to matter what gear you are in.
It's the first time I've gone down in paper performance with no regrets.
