Cooper S oil

Afternoon all,

Just a quick one:

What oil is best for an 08 Cooper S? Halfords say 5w30 Castrol Edge. Castrol website says 0w30.

I use Castrol Edge 0-W30. I seem to re-call that was what MINI recommended. The handbook should say. I'll have a look later.

You're a gent. I could have sworn I bought 0w30 last time, but had a crisis of confidence when forced to make a decision!

Handbook says it needs to meet BMW LL01 specification.
This SPEC is printed on the bottle
It's actually quite an old SPEC, as there is LL04 I seem to remember for my Z4it stands for LongLife and the year of specification.

You need LL04, this comes in various grades, take your pic.
