New to PH - introduction

This is the car the day I went and picked it up in October 2011



Before MITP 2012 I fitted a small aerial and an ITG Panel filter



In October 2012 I had the car dechromed, rear lights tinted and the stripes removed





Also had the runflats taken off and a set of Toyo T1R's fitted

Later that month went to the ring and of course got myself a ring sticker!







February 2013 took a trip to evolve and had a decat fitted. Honestly so happy with the sound the car now makes!

May 2013 I turned 21 and got given a new numberplate by my family!


June 2013 went to 1320 and had some KWv1's and some SPC rca's fitted. Top work by the guys and now the car is much closer to where I want it to be!




August 2013 and another trip to 1320

Got the stock pads replaced with carbotechs. Xp8's up front and x6's at the back


Then got some challenge diffusers fitted onto the back


And then for some reason I decided to get the car put onto the dyno!


Ran 195 at the wheels which translates to around 225bhp. For a totally stock engine and a decat I am happy with that figure!

I left saying that I would not be back for a long time (although that's probably not true)

I love the car, but unfortunately it got worse as I scrolled down lol. Don't like the rear lights, small number plate or the diffuser... but there you go! We're all different got anymore plans? Bet it's fun on track.

Haha was thinking the same, the diffuser is a popular mod, but they look awful

Got to agree, unfortunately. Looks like a 21 year old owns the car.....

But, my opinion is exactly that, an opinion.

OP, have your times improved at the ring with the mods? Would love to take mine at some stage, just to say I have done it.....

Challenge diffusers are epic. Obviously dechrome is a good thing too.

Not sure about the defuser but de-chrome and coil overs improve the look - nice work.

Out of interest how much were the Kw v1's and rca's fitted. I've a clubman jcw and keep thinking about come coil overs. Also, how would you say ride differs from standard after NRF's and coil overs?
