Mini's and Theft
Discussion
So early hours of Monday morning the dog awoke me to an individual standing outside with my car door open. Fortunately the dog sounds incredibly fierce and he fled before we could pursue him! The Police assumed I'd left the car open, although I'm convinced I locked it. No signs of damage and alarm was off.
Next day 4 more reports of Mini's on the same road have all been "unlocked" and the contents emptied. Mainly small change and satnavs.
Question is, How are they getting in? And has anyone else had a similar issue? Any fixes to prevent it?
-All mini's were R56's ranging from one's to my JCW-

I had this problem a couple of weeks back. Left my car parked in the street in London and came back the next day to find the contents strewn around but nothing taken (don't keep any valuables in the car). No sign of forced entry and the car was open.
I'm pretty sure it was definitely locked as I always check. Tried doing some research to see if it was a know problem but couldn't find anything.
I thought that modern alarms worked on a rolling frequency, to avoid the scanner type gizmos, maybe the thieves are getting more high tech!
