My Cooper S Paceman
Discussion
We have taken delivery of our paceman. It's light white with black roof and stripes with black leather interior.

We have been fortunate to have had many BMW minis over the years so the comparison will be interesting. So far we love it. The quality of fit and finish is superb, the drive is good and all the attention it gets is overwhelmingly positive.

Pics are a bit dark, I must say I like the countryman, had a top spec cooper s version for a weekend a while back, not sure on the attraction with these though. Be interested in thought process
I will take pictures during the day some time soon when the car is clean and dry.My thought process was really simple.
I like the BMW "MINI" product. we have had 6 in various guises but needed a larger car (family growing up etc.)
I personally prefer the look of the Paceman to the Countryman, especially around the back.
I don't need 4 doors or 5 seats.
I love the UK machined and built N18 engine. Its like a old school carburated unit the way it pops and warbles, fantastic.
So that it really. Although mechanically the same it was the Paceman that suited my application the best. I'm really happy with the choice we made and the car is getting better as the miles go on. I've done 2000 now and its averaging about 39 MPG which is achieved over my typical run of 14 miles at cruising m/way speeds then a 5 mile "progressive" twisty blatt.
