Fitted them to my Mrs Cooper S Conv. Replaced 17" RF Euphoria. Massive improvement in wet & dry grip, ride, noise and handling.
People who say you have to replace the 17s with 16s or 15s to improve the ride obviously haven't tried a good set of 17" non-RFs.

I'd have the on my Cooper but they don't do them in 16".

2011 cooper s hatch

infinitely improved the tramlining and jittery ride

compromises to the steering feel and chuckability

I have these on my MCS, I drove over a massive piece of metal in Liverpool last week doing a u-turn and it was a good 5-10 miles down a motorway before I noticed any slight problem. Most of the pressure was still in the tyre with no major deflation, absolutely amazed that they weren't even run flat when I checked.

A brilliant little tyre, but I dread to think what a run-flat is like if this is an improvement in terms of ride hehe

Not on a Mini but have been using these for the last 5 years on various cars, great grip, good comfort, get over 20k miles out of them.Only downside is the very soft sidewalls which lose you a bit of steering feel.
I find a couple of PSI over the recomended pressures gets the best out them.

I run my Xsara VTS which is 205/40 x 17 at 2psi over recommended which is 40 front and 38 rear. My C2 VTS I ran them at 38 front but standard 36 rear. The only wear issue was on the rear o/s inner tyre but was due to daily motorway miles and the neg camber and road camber but was getting near 25k out of a set with consistent grip throughout the lifespan.
The extra PSI did not cause any centre wear issues but certainly gave better steering feel.

The XL versions I have have stiffer sidewalls

That's what I thought about going for as everyone says about the soft side walls. Plus i turned it into a van "before van came out " for all my Valeting gear. So XL's I think is the way to go.
