Re setting tyre pressure alarm R53 JCW

I'm sure it's been asked many times before but does anyone know how to reset the tyre pressure warning?
I've checked tyre pressures and they are fine.
It's happened before but it's normally been going in for a service so they've reset it.
I've tried following manual without success.

Just press & hold the button. I think the warning light does something to show when its reset but I can't remember what.

Hold the button down by the handbrake until the light comes on in yellow. Should go out after approx 5 seconds.

Only had the car for about 3 years and never noticed that button.
Mind you it is the wife's!
