hi there recently a proud owner of a nice jcw s and I love it , I was wondering about upgrading the superchip ,if I can? or what I can do to increase the bhp .
Its an 05 model and doesn't have the sport button and im told I cant retrofit these?
im new to this forum and mini s in general so any advise welcome.
Currently running at supposedly 210 bhp? I have only just received the car but im keen to learn.....
Will try to upload some pics soon....
thx.

Utter cr4p, you dont need a map. Look at the link/forums above.

It wont be, the JCWs never put out what they are supposed to!

15/17% pulley will certainly give it more oomph though, whereas a remap will just be a waste of money. Perhaps add a GP intercooler instead?

JCW have an 11% pulley I think so the 15% or 17% should increase it. I wouldn't fork out for a GP intercooler. I'd go GRS motorsport.

Why do they advertise them as 210 then?
If they are 170 standard, the cylinder head, airbox, injectors, exhaust and map should easily make 210.
We are running a standard cooper S now with a 17 percent pulley, Fletcher exhaust and as manifold/ sport cat and its about the same as the JCW we had before.

As they don't run 170 standard.... If you want to modify a r53 I recommend 1320, top guys.
