Rear wiper park position

Rear wiper on our 52 plate Cooper has decided that the park position is vertical, rather than horizontal.
The wiper works fine, other than stopping in the same vertical position every time. I've checked out a few forums for this issue but most issues relate to water in the wiper motor which causes the wiper to stop at random positions on the screen. This isn't random, it's stopping in the exact same position every time.
Looks like it just needs a reset to learn the correct park position. Any ieas how this is done?
This started when the car was in for a new exhaust. I can't see how the two issues are related though.
