F56 2014 mini connected

Do any f56 owners know if I should be able to use the mini conn3cted app on my f56 Cooper s. I have tried to get it to work and failed miserabley 😡

It works with my iPhone on a 15 plate F56. Are you using bluetooth or USB as it only works with the USB
