Cost of changing brake pads - Mini One

Hi, how much should it cost to change the brake pads on a Mini One please ?

Not bothered about if main dealer.

Front pads £20, hour labour at my local indy would be £65.

All depends on what "abs service" amounts to?

Never heard of an “ABS service” on any car…

Is this main dealer? My experience of MINI is that they are robbing sods. Cooper Reading wanted to charge £340 just to change the oil & pollen filter in my 2018 Countryman.....(same first service on my Mk7 GTD at VW was £165).

At a decent Independent, using good quality pads, I would expect £200-225......perhaps £250 with a brake fluid change.

Never heard of 'ABS service' either - check what they are doing for that, as I don't recall ever seeing that in a service schedule....

First off who has said it needs all pads changing? Don't trust the computer or a main dealer telling you they need changing. You need to physically check how much pad is left.
