MINI SD Remap Options

Morning Folks

I have a 2014 2.0 Cooper SD (143bhp, 305nm torque) and I am considering a remap. Most are quoting around a 35 bhp/90Nm improvement. Does anyone have any experience re mapping one of these engines? I won't be thrashing it but the increased torque is what I am after more than outright bhp.

My car has done 52k miles, 16k in my ownership.........and I run it on the recommended oil and filter and change at 5k intervals in my time with the car.

If anyone could recommend a remapping service, should I consider a diy fitment option, is there a switchable option?

Decide whether your clutch would be sufficiently able to handle the extra torque without slipping.

DarkSide developments in South Yorkshire are you go to. They have a Mini SD and its far from standard. They are diesel specialist and have experience with the 2.0 engines.
