2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S. Failed MOT on worn bushes in both front lower arms (NSF/OSF).

Independent garage is quoting me £850 to replace both complete front lower arms. Does that sound about right for an independent of am I being fleeced?

And is it normal to replace whole arms instead of just bushes? Should alignment included?

Thanks in advance.

Quick look at ebay says about £100 for a pair of arms and £120 for a pair of the rear bushes the arms sit in, I would say £850 is v expensive

Usually around 1.5 to 2 hours labour, decent arms with wheel geometry I’d say around £400, genuine arms are not stupidly expensive
