Just placed a deposit, pending viewing, on this 18 plate cooper S clubman with the 7 speed steptronic.

Hopefully going to be a decent little steer. Went for this over a little hatch as I do a lot of mtb'ing and I can fit my bike in here seats down. Also going to look at a stage 1 tune to make it a little more peppy.

I had a 2018 Cooper S Hatch. It was a great little car. But I needed something bigger so I now have a Countryman JCW which is absolutely brilliant.

But I really enjoyed my Cooper s. Enjoy

Similarly I can get my MTB in the back of our F60 Countryman, but also have an MPV which easily takes a couple of MTBs!

Thanks. Picked up Saturday and it's a very clean little car for is 56k miles.
It is indeed the 7 speed.

Drives very well, I'm missing my m340i's power but the little Clubby is way more fun to drive.
Next priority is to sort an interface so I can use android auto (mainly for Google maps). Why they did carplay only I'll never know, do they not realise there are people out there with proper phones as well?

Easily enough space for what i need as well.

Just wondering how you're getting on with the Clubman?

My son has recently bought a Cooper F56 and it's great to drive. I'm wondering if I should swap my F31 BMW for a Clubman.

I'm a bit worried about the lack of space as my Springer likes to stretch out in the boot of my present car, I really need to go for a look at one at some point.

Honestly I love it.
My old 22 plate m340i was nice but it just felt like a fast saloon.
The little MINI was a 1/3 of the price but just feels more fun. It's slower, obviously, but i way prefer driving it. Space wise it can take 4 adults and the boot is decent. A cabin case will fit in lengthways front to back of that makes sense.

Go take a look, you may be pleasantly surprised smile

Many thanks for that.

I'm regularly 'borrowing' my son's Mini as it's just a hoot to drive. I volunteered to drop him off at the pub last night and took the scenic way home..

I'll go and find one and have a closer look.
