According to the reminder when I first switch my car on it's due its first service this month, or at least it says service due '6000 miles - 04/2009'. Is it case of whichever comes first, like with most? Only reason I ask is I was expecting lots of service due warnings once we reached this month, but it's kept quiet.

It's already paid for under TLC, so it doesn't make much difference either way. smile

On the mini the system does not work off which ever comes first its when the miles have been covered, the miles will adapt, even if you don't drive it they will go down. If you drive it hard you will get through the miles faster than a soft driver.

It really just adapts to the way you drive. I personally have mine serviced every 6 months but I don't ever take my car to BMW

I take its an R56?

Basically it sounds like your due, intervals on R56 are 19,000 or 2 years, so if its showing date wise as this month you can get it booked in

Yep, it's an R56.

That's fine, I thought as much. I was just a little surprised it hadn't started nagging me in a similar manner to when you're down to 60 miles worth of fuel! biggrin

Thanks for the advice.
