Would there be any issues with changing from run-flats to standard tyres?

...and what tyres would you recommend for the mini?

I've had no issues to far after changing off my runflats.

I went with Yoko parada spec 2's, and have found them very good.

I have also heard that the Yoko Parada's were really good.

I recently swapped from runflats over to Nangkangs NS2's, and for a budget tyre (under £60 a corner) they are very good imo

No issues, and I've always found Eagle F1's to be a great tyre on the 17's wink

Without a doubt Yoko Parada spec II's... tested on road and track and first rate... not brilliant in the wet however but superb in the dry.

Surely the only problem would be if you get a puncture. Apart from that can't see any reasons why not to change.

hehe

Seriously - wheels for use with run flat tyres have a double hump in the rim (hence the 'JJ' designation after the wheel size instead of 'J' or 'H2'. i.e. 7x17JJ). Mounting non-runflats on a wheel designed for runflats is no problem. The other way round is a nono.

Pirelli P zero Neros. The dry grip is not quite as good as the Paradas but the wet grip and noise/ride comfort is much better.
