Ultimatly it depends how 'spirited' your driving is...
but in my '54 Jcw i'll see 25-30mpg for mixed town and country driving, With ~35 on motorways.

Can't help on the buggy i'm afraid!

In my 54 plate MCS, driving normally around town achieves 30mpg.
On a trip to Dundee last weekend, i set the cruise at 70mph and done about 80miles on the motorway and it achieved 40mpg!!!
But then the other nite after picking it up from a service, i kicked its teeth in and got 20.1mpg!!!!
Theres no two ways about it, when you drive them hard, they DRINK petrol like something with about 400bhp, not 170bhp!!! lol!!

At Bedford Autodrome in the rain, would've been less in the dry!. I get about 28-30mpg on my daily commute which is a mix of tight country lanes and fast A roads biggrin Though it will go lower if there's less traffic about wink

Tis true, especially at Bedford. I managed to get my standard R53 down to 8.3mpg biggrin but it was a very nice day. (This was 8.3 having been reset beforehand, else it would've been even more impressive!)

I normally get about 280 miles out of a tank, can be less, can be a bit more. Have never reached 300 miles though.
