Hi All,

We own a MCS Cab on a 54-reg.

Previously the top seal would come away after motorway driving. I have now seated it correctly and it no longer does that (so often), however, what I have noticed is that the seal seems to have nearly a 1cm gap at one end. I presume this is not as designed and it looks like someone has cut the seal down at some point. I also experience a whilstling type wind noise from that corner. I presume this could be the reason?!?

Has anyone else come across this? Do I just buy a new seal from the stealers?

Thanks for any help,
MaKS

Sorry this isn't an answer to your question but my 02 plate MCS also has a 1cm gap on the winscreen seal/trim, also looks like someone has been at it with a knife

The top seal causing a noise at high speed is a common problem/warranty fix, you should take it to the stealers and get them to sort it.

Keep an eye on your A Pillar covers (Glass black plastic posts at each side of the windscreen) as these can come off if the windscreen has been messed with before. Know of a few that have come off on motorways.

Like it has been said, Its covered under warranty (If factory fit screen) but does not show up in re-call bulletin's.
