Anyone interested in a Mini track day at Brands?

Thanks for highlighting this event here. I called the Guildford shop and they registered my intended participation. The day has been booked as out of the office for me.

By the sound of things it could be a good day out. One thing that was explained is that the 20 minute instruction sessions need to be booked at the track itself. When you make contact they will also should give you details of the insurance company for track days.

Thanks for posting this up.
Should be a good day, I've driven Brands before and really like the circuit - you don't get the real impression of the elevation changes until you drive it and head into Paddock Hill bend at speed.
Now booked up to give the MINI its first go on track.

Is anybody staying over the night before in the area? I see that there is aThistle hotel near by. For now I need to worry about getting my rear tires changed and receive the track day insurance papers and we are good to go.

Had a very enjoyable day at Brands on Friday.
Very few cars so spent much longer out on track than I was expecting. Rain held off (just about) all day and the track dried out during the morning.
What with breakfast, lunch, framed photo of the car out on track for each of the participants, goody bags etc made for a top day. Pity more MINI owners didn't come along to see how much fun the cars can be when driven hard!
Car finished the day in one piece - just needs some new tyres now!

Totally agree, had a thoroughly enjoyable day and was a great introduction into trackdays for the novices out there. I hope they do it again, although I have my doubts due to the small numbers that came on friday.

I really wanted to go to this - my car had other ideas and has developed a severe case of "putting lots of warning lights on in a random fashion"

Was an awesome day Great value, empty track! Got to use the semi slicks in the afternoon which was a bit of a giggle. Had some good laps with a dark silver R53 with a black hood scoop - anyone on here?
