Idea on Price

Hi

I'm looking at buying a Cooper with Chilli pack. The car I've seen is for sale privately, 05 reg with 45k miles, up at £8000. There seems quite a wide variety on price looking on the web from late 6K to 8.5K...just wondered what peoples thoughts were on what to offer?

Have you actually looked at the cars? I'd guess £6.5k gets you a tatty nail. £8k gets you something looked after?
