Cooper S Torque Steer

The wife has just bought a brand new (184bhp) Cooper S.

Lovely car to drive and really gutsy engine - but taking it out for a bit of a thrashing on Sunday I couldn't help noticing that the car torque steers a bit under full acceleration.

Is this normal ?

For some reason the 2nd Gen S seems very prone to it - Caught me out big time at MU09 when driving a friends brand new R57
