You can chip but will get 10% at best. There is a lot you can do but its a lot of money to go from 115 to 130-140. There are a lot of good people how can get more but I would say, Get the S (as already suggested) or get the turbo kit to see real power.

Blimey, my other half (who's not a garndmother) has a 987 Boxster S and two weeks ago took delivery of a Cooper S Works. Having got used to the performance of the Boxster S the Cooper that she had previously did feel lethargic. Looked at Lohen upgrades amongst others and apparently the standard 108 bhp could be boosted to 150 bhp. Due to the fact that modified cars tend to be harder to sell on and you certainly don't get your money back we decided to go Cooper S Works. Much nicer to drive and just need some decent boots to improve ride and handling.

As said, not much you can do to an NA Cooper, 120bhp is fun but hardly earth shattering.

That said, my Mum (older still ) drives an MX-5, so less power, but more *fun*.

what about taking it to lohen. heard the 140BHP kit isnt too bad and its isnt too expensive.

You're far better going to 1320 autos than lohen as they actually know what they're doing
