Hello, thinking of getting a Lohen Stage 1 conversion:
http://www.lohen.co.uk/shop/proddetail.php?prod=LC...

Does anyone have experience of one of these, or similar modifications? The car is an otherwise bog standard 2003 163bhp model, so that seems quite a decent performance increase for the money.

Also is this liable to affect resale value by much? E.g. do people frown on anything that isn't an official JCW conversion?

The bluefin map isn't worth the money, some cars have actually lost power with it. For a decent remap it needs to be done for that particular car on a dyno. A generic map isn't going to work well.

Your best bet is to go for a smaller supercharger pulley and cold air intake. Cheap mods that will gain you a fair bit of power.

Once you've removed the original pulley it's quite hard to go back to standard. The JCW kit is massively overpriced and gives a negligible performance gain.
