Does anyone know if an 05 MCS Convertible has ISOFIX fittings in the front or back and also if the front airbag can be disabled to carry a car seat in the front passenger seat?

I think the airbag can be switched off - when you open the passenger door - there is a switch on the end of the dash - you put the key in to turn it off. I vaguely remember this being an optional extra so I guess they might not all have it - am sure BMW can do it with the computer if there isnt a switch.

Isofix in the back for sure - there are little plastic covers over the mounts, but not sure about the front.

Just for the record having spoken to Mini both Isofix mountings and airbag deactivation switch were optional extras which seems a bit odd..

Anyway Mrs T5GRF is happy as she now has a nice shiny MCS Convertible with all the toys!

Cheers for the advice
