Hello all,

I have had a look at a couple of mini cooper s JCW and they have got warn supercharger covers, black marks at each end.

Is this normal?

Is it anything to worry about?

Andy.

I'm not quite sure what you mean? The supercharger is worn?

You mean the plastic cover that sits on the intercooler? the silver part. There is no cover on the supercharger so it has to be the intercooler

They all wear as the bonnet foam sits on top of them, slightly worse with a GP and there is nothing to worry about its meant to do that, it means the foam is contacting and diverting air as it should

That's great, that is exactly what I meant, sorry for the poor original description!
