Hi Mini fans,

A quick question if you will ( this ISN'T a bare-faced plug BTW!);
I've been trying to sell my immaculate Cooper Clubman for a few weeks now and had absolutely no interest? It's a great spec and very well priced.
Any ideas people? Is it that nobody loves the Clubbie? It certainly always gets positive attention when out and about, I just can't work out why I've had no interest. See below:

For me the colour isnt right, I dont like red cars.
But assuming its priced right then I guess you can only then look at the wording in the ad?

I just bought cooper s but the salesman was offering higher spec clubmans for less. He explained that they were getting less interest hence the price drop. Surely though there will be a buyer for yours.

The fatal line at the end - 'personal reg not included'. Private buyers will have no idea what that entails as regards giving it a new registration. Game over.

Description is a bit wordy. If the estate agent TV programmes are anything to go by, then remove all personalisation - just list the options and service history. If people are looking at buying a Clubman (and you've got to filter the ads just to find them) they know how practical it is compared to the normal hatch.

Remove the bit 'will add photos later' as you have added photos (and the red is different on the internal / external shots).

Don't just say 'not kerbed', add a photo of all your perfect wheels. Let the browser decide for themselves.

Not sure if this helps you, but we bought a Mini Cooper clubman from a dealer last week for £10k. It was a 08 reg with just 9k miles on it and had the Chilli pack.

It seemed a one off though as others of a similar age and spec were going for around £11-£12k, so I guess we were just lucky! However it might suggest that yours is perhaps priced a little high?

I'm looking for one at the moment, but a 'S' version unfortunately.

They look like a great car to be, all the fun of a mini with a touch of practicality the standard car lacks.
