Weather in Amsterdam

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what weather conditions are like in Amsterdam at the moment. We will be there on Saturday for a quick visit. We want to do all the usual tourist stuff on foot.

Is it snowy or icy under foot? It looks like snow forecast for Saturday, how bad is it likely to be?

I don't live there but I'm sure there will be some ice on the streets in the city. Highways should be fine.

Pretty bad.

Snowy and icy conditions on pavements and most minor roads untreated.

We expect another dumping of snow Saturday / Sunday also.

Had a great day, but it was easily the coldest I have ever been in my life! The canal tour boat was breaking the ice all the way round.
