Hi all,

We're trying to find out about the steepness of the ramp and how suitable it is for supercars, the only photo we can find is this one:

Obviously the tide plays a part in how severe the incline is, and we're not sure of it will be the top of the ramp causing the main issues with grounding out but if anyone has done this or has any info that would be an amazing help.

Thanks in advance,

Jon

Jon, I've done that crossing but it wasn't in a super car

It won't be just that ramp angle you want to worry about as it's a double decker ferry so inside is another ramp just as steep or maybe even steeper with a nasty 90 deg corner.

Even if you can get all the cars on without leaving front spoiler lips and exhaust tailpipes behind on the dock, they then jam all the cars together completely randomly to the nearest 0.5mm.

If by some remote chance you get all the cars parked up without any 'rubbing' your worries are far from over as when the doors burst open at the other end it is a complete free for all to get out.

Throw in a bit of Italian unorganised chaos and your supper car owner chums will have wished you organised a little swaray for them at Wimbledon banger racing stadium with track time during one of the races.

I live in Italy and have done a few family touring holidays through Croatia, Bosnia, Romania, Montenegro etc so if you want PM me the sort of route you're thinking of as I'm more than happy to give you some first hand experience of the type of roads you will most likely end up driving on.
