November Monza trip

Hi, we're travelling down, via Spa, the Nurburgring and the alps, to Monza on the 3rd of November for (hopefully!) some track lappery on the 4th. Any fellow PHers fancy meeting up for a chat/drink while we're down there?

Hi, excellent! Was it you we met at the guest house in Germany? Visited Spa and 'Ring on first day ('Ring very wet, greasy, slippy, so just the one lap...) Second day was the long drive through Austria and italy to Glorenzo via some very fast derestricted autbahns (145mph 'cos it would be rude not to). Stelvio was next, up on the Swiss side but unfortunately shut due to snow on the "interesting" side, so back down through Bormio and then on to Monza.

On the sunday got to the track nice and early and did a session in the morning and another in the afternoon. Both were wet but lots more grip than at the 'Ring and lots of fun. Will definately be going back! Monday was the the drive to Reims and the next day a chance to view the old pits and grandstand alongside the main road, and then the drive back to Calais.

Will be going back to the 'Ring at Easter and hope to get to Hockenheim on the same trip. Fancy coming?
