TVRCC Northants monthly meet at Sywell

sounds good but I'd still need plenty of twisty roads and few straights to keep up, the acceleration of your engine running in is still quicker than my car enough though I don't hang about
and I've got to run my new (145/80/13) tyres in tomorrow too
be nice to run in a pack of more than two cars for a change though
I'm ringing my mate tonight so look out tomorrow for a tatty, old-man's-red MG Midget and my mate probably driving his wife's Chrysler Crossfire drop-top (manual g/box) (or perhaps one of his Supras or M100 Lotus Elan)
if things get too fast or we lose the pack not to worry as we devise our own runs as we go along anyway and have been doing plenty of dry and often sunny weekend runs over the last few winters, as well as autumns, summers and springs, so I've got myself reacquainted with many of the fabulous and often almost traffic free Northamptonshire country roads
cheers

Well the mg didn't have any issue keeping up with me. Awesome driving;). Hopefully once the suspension is sorted I will be able to give you more of a challenge. Were you chaps from guilsborough? Would you like to do a similar thing again some time? Ill try to choose a better smoother route next time
cheers, martin

Hi Martin, thanks for the run
sorry about the indicator confusion I thought you were signalling a bird of prey high in the sky (!)
Sheila counted 8 times you bottomed out before adjusting your dampers/springs(?), once I swerved out of habit from the days of having a V8S, Griff and other cars that bottomed out
we're from Northampton and Nev & Liz from the border of Leicestershire, but we try not to hold that against them, and were going to do one of our make it up as you go along runs but had a club charity cheque presentation this afternoon in Northampton so had to end there instead of our usual country village pubs
nice to tag in a group as we used to in PH runs
we had a great time thanks
