Water Resistant Walking Trousers

Im looking for a lightweight, water resistant trouser for walking. Im not a fan of the thicker over trousers etc so would prefer something more comfortable.
Has anyone got any recommendations on something they have bought recently and tried?

Buy something that you like and that is comfortable and then use a Nik wax techwash product to give it the DWR water repellency that you require.

I've used Berghaus Paclite for the last few years for everything from mountains to moors. They'll let in water after a couple of hours in heavy rain, but nothing else I've tried comes close. You don't need to treat them with anything.
