I don't know anything about horses/form, but I enjoy this one race every year, as its a traditional thing.
I must ask though, they just interviewed three jockies, who all appeared to be dwarf Irishman. Does one need to be a runt 'traveler' from the Republic to make it into horse racing? Nice posh bird doing the interviewing on ITV....

I know it means nothing but i have apparently managed to bag the favourite Total Recall in our works draw. £10 each £400 to the winner! Virtual kit kats will be on me if it wins!

I had a £1 each way on Pleasant Company, came in 2nd, photo finish and missed out by a small fraction! frown

I know nothing about horses/gambling, so threw down a quid/pence on some favourites and outsiders - E/W to six places. My choices came in 1st, 4th and 6th! One of these was 50/1 and I bet £1.10 on it! smile

First time (and probably last) on the Grand National. I only did it, as a friend showed me the Paddy Power app ...

Spent 15 got back 8.50 but as I had the Paddy site up I've blown the 8.50 on underdog football teams.

Just checked and they are even more underdog by half time.

That's why I keep away from Bookies biggrin

Had the winner at £2.50 e/w along with 3 other horses, so total bet of £20 got £36.25 back. As you can probably tell not a big gambler but still put a smile on my face.

First winner i've had since Minnihoma in 1994.

Had a fiver each way at 14-1 on the winner, on behalf of my daughter. She wins every bloody year!

I should have learned by now and just double the stake on whatever she picks rolleyes

One horse down and being treated by vets, think it fell at a jump then had another horse land on it, they put screens around it and the remaining runners had to miss out that jump.

Any tips for this years Grand NAtional today guys?

I was born on Grand National day, so it’s was always a fun thing to have a flutter, when I was young my dad used to place the bets for us at the local bookies.

Now my dads no longer with I try to get my kids to pick a horse each.

It’s all on. Line nowof course from the Betfair app, not the same, but done in the same spirit!

My very amateur interpretation of the media analysis has led to a tenner being placed on the following- all to win.

Rock the Kasbah. 17:1
Pleasant Company 22:1
Ballyoptic 50:1

And as an insurance policy, Tiger Roll 4.3:1

So to follow my usual pattern, we have a couple of long odds juts for the fun, then one each for Tom
And Lucy and my winning money is on Anabale Fly!

Here’s the full bet slip!

Blow by blow @ 125/1

Captain Redbeard @ 66/1

Jury Duty @ 14/1

Vintage Clouds @ 11/1

Anibale Fly @ 14/1
