If we're having a Six Nations thread, I guess it should have details of the PH Fantasy Six Nations on it!

Finn Russel...naughty boy....j
Just what the actual shuddering F**K Scotland, come on, it's not like we are blessed with a great depth of natural talent that we can afford to press the self-destruct button before the tournament even kicks off!
Hope Hastings can step up, but as a Scots fan I am now concerned we wont even be able to hang onto our "plucky underdog" moniker this season.

Getting pissed despite players and coaching staff asking him to stop.
Leaving the hotel and sodding off to his parents' house.
Turning up late and hungover for training.
Arguing with the head coach.

Can't see what options Townsend had really.

A two home game year is never an easy thing as a Scotland supporter but internal self destruction before we've even started has really rattled my optimism.

This really could be a "lets all laugh at Scotland" year. I think I'll have to learn to treat this like watching the football team laughing off our shortcomings. No point letting results and performances ruin what are good days out. Just enjoy the banter with the opposition.

I'm hoping it's all just an elaborate ruse to Lull the Irish into complacency.

Russell has always been so hot and cold in a Scotland shirt you can never rely on him delivering the brilliance he is capable of - hopefully this might lead to development of a decent permanent replacement (ideally 2). Bit early to tell if that might be Hastings though.

Extraordinarily arrogant for a player to behave like this when it's quite clear a struggling team needs everyone to work together to seek some kind of inspiration. It's not like we have the depth of talent to accommodate this sort of nonsense in the way the bigger sides might.

Wonder if he took a look at the squad and the camp and thought f**k this and opted to get kicked off team to go back to France rather than another world cup-esque embarrassment.

Yep. I think I'd have gone for Tompkins, personally, but hopefully he'll do well.
